My favorites things of 2011, because I need to post on this site before I shut it down.

Music: Dustin O'Halloran - Lumiere 2011 was a wonderful year for finding music. In no small part to wonderful services like Rdio (@rdio) and Spotify (@spotify). A Winged Victory for the Sullen (Also an O'Halloran project), loscil, Olafur Arnalds, Marconi Union, Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Julia Kent, Johann Johannsson, and Goldmund all discovered this year through those two services.

Movie: The Princess and the Frog. What can I say, we don't get to watch too many of our own movies. Besides, it really is a great movie. I did finally see 'The Departed' in 2011. (I know, I know) Loved it though!

Book: Poke The Box by Seth Godin. Small enough to keep going back to it when needed for inspiration.

Show: Film Riot (@filmriot). Hands down my favorite show now. I discovered it in 2011 and watched all 3 or 4 seasons. Absolutely hysterical and informative. Tons O' fun.

Event: Launching Keyframe Films. Here's to lots of shooting in 2012.

So there we go, 2011 in a small nutshell. So much more and so many great people I am too lazy to get to.
