I have four blogs.
That’s not counting facebook, twitter, plurk, linkedin, flickr, vimeo…on and on and on.

I haven’t posted to any of them in over a month.
It’s partially because I realized how annoying almost every blog is.

But the main reason for my lack of blogging is the approaching birth of Veronica Jane. It has dawned on me in the last week or so that I am steering every conversation I have towards talking about her. I just spent $1,100 we don’t have on a camera and a video camera to shoot everything she does.
And she’s not even born yet.
I even find myself reading other peoples parental blogs…and enjoying them!

So…This is a fair warning to all my friends. You are all wonderful people and I have no desire to offend or annoy you. But I am about to become one of “those people” who constantly posts pictures, videos and blogs about every stupid thing their damn kid does. I apologize for this in advance.
There is nothing I can do. It’s like a zombie bite. You can’t fight it.

Don’t get me wrong. There will still be posts about horror movies, Halloween (new corpses are in production now) and my beloved N.Y. Football Giants. But somehow it will circle back to the kid. ["Veronica yanked one of the ribs off Mr. Corpsey", "Doesn't she look cute in her GIANTS onesie" (sp?) "Here's a stop motion movie of Veronica 'driving' her swingy thing", "SHE MOVED HER HAND AND I HAVE 27 PICTURES OF IT!" and so on]

I beg your patience, it should only last a few years.
