Yes, You read correctly.
A few of us walked down to Dunkin’ Donuts this morning. My boss decided to buy a dozen donuts for the office. Somehow the conversation turned to maple frosted donuts and how good bacon might taste on them.
So that’s what we did.
Shaking their heads and with jaws slacked the fine staff at DD accommodated us and slapped two rounds of bacon on the grill and topped our maple frosted donuts with their salty-meaty goodness.
The verdict?
DELICIOUS!
I imagine with fresh homemade donuts and quality bacon it could really be a knockout treat, to be enjoyed - oh say - once a year or more if your told you have a terminal illness anyway.
I did take my blood pressure 3 times 15 and 30 minutes later - 127 over 70 was the highest. So I think I’ll live.
