Must Have Christmas Movies

Shop Around the Corner is a seasonal favorite of mine. Actually it’s just a favorite movie period. Great characters and fantastic dialogue. It really is one of my all time favorites. Funny thing is it’s not really a Christmas movie. At least, the story really has nothing to do with Christmas. It just happens to take place at Christmas time. There are a few movies like this, that I have to watch around Christmas time but are not actually Christmas movies. Besides, ‘Shop’, there’s ‘Die Hard’ and Lethal Weapon.

But, of course there are the top 5 Christmas movies that simply cannot be missed each year.

4. The Bishop’s Wife

3. A Christmas Carol (George C Scott version)

2. Christmas Vacation

1. A Christmas Story

There are many more I watch every year, but I NEED these.

Egg & onion sandwich

My favorite sandwich!
The Original:
Brown a chopped onion in butter.
Crack two eggs over it. Break the yolks.
Salt n’ Pepper.
Serve on toasted white bread. (I prefer non-toasted)

The Classic:
Same as above except with chopped up dried beef.
Either Armour chipped beef (the classic) or Knauss dried beef.

The Overdone:
Same as the classic except with a handful of shredded cheddar on top at the end. Cover it with a pot top and throw and ice cube in the pan to steam it.
